Tim Speers, (Timmy Chim Chim’s) Brain Surgery

We were in California working, Timmy had a series of seizures on our day off, yesterday (9-10-19). We knew about a meningioma in his brain a few years back and it wasn’t growing so we were to leave it alone. Fast forward a couple years, it is now growing, and causing swelling around it, which is why these breakthrough seizures have been happening. The neurosurgeon wants to do surgery as soon as tomorrow.  We are coming up with a plan with the social workers at the hospital to decide if this surgery will happen here or in Kansas, and what we need to do without insurance. (We couldn’t afford to enroll in affordable care last November, and our plan to re up insurance this November is to far away) Alas, we are asking for anything to help with expenses, missing work, and being in California while this all happens. Anything will help, even your love from afar. Much love to all of you. We hate to ask for help, but sometimes we all need a little. A little update, the neurosurgeon recommendation was to have the surgery done in Kansas, so we are hoping to head home tomorrow. We also increased the goal, as our first few days in the hospital have already racked up a $180,000 bill. Again, we love you all and thanks for your support
