Timmy Tough

As many of you know, our nine-year-old nephew, Timmy Francois, was diagnosed with B-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia last week. The news was a shock to all of us, as Timmy never seemed sick! He is the youngest of Jason & Sarah Francois' five kids.

We know they have an enormous amount of family and friends who want to help. So, first and foremost, we are asking for PRAYERS. But, due to the tremendous outpour of support and requests to donate to the family, we have set up this Go Fund Me page.

Around Thanksgiving, they found a couple of bumps behind his left ear. Then, Sarah felt his head on Christmas, and they were still there with a few more. The doctor checked him out, did blood work and an ultrasound on them, and everything came back normal. No red flags. But they were referred to ENT. The doctor thought one was a little bigger than he wanted it to be, so he removed it to get it biopsied. A couple of days later, they got the news and were sent right to Iowa City for further testing and scans. Jason and Sarah were with Timmy in Iowa City all last week while he received his first rounds of treatment. He will continue to travel to Iowa City once a week for a year. After that, he will receive chemo once a month for the following year.
