Timmy Gs Covid19 Quarantine Fund
Donation protected
Tim was diagnosed with Covid-19 and hospitalized on April 18th, 2020. By the grace of God, he has been recovering well in the care of Emory St. Joseph's hospital. He is ready for release! The team at Emory thought they had everything squared away for Tim to spend two weeks in quarantine in one of the government trailers throughout Georgia. Well, that didn't work out. He has roommates who (for obvious reasons) do not wish for him to come home yet. He cannot stay with his parents either. So, with no other options on the table, he has to stay at an extended stay hotel and foot the bill, all while out of work.
Our goal is to help raise enough money for Tim to cover his extended stay hotel and food for 2 weeks. This totals about $1000. I have set the goal at $1500 so that there's a little padding for him to bounce back from being out of work for 2 weeks on top of his hospital stay.
Tim is a very kind, generous person. Heart of gold. I hate to see him being put in this position. This season of life is the hardest many of us will ever experience. My prayer is that our community comes together to help make Tim's difficult position a bit better by removing the financial worry and burden.
We are already working on finding resources that may be available to him, be it through unemployment, paid time off via Families First Coronavirus Act (which is not as feasible as one would think), etc.. If you are aware of options, please comment below.
Any donation is helpful. Please feel free to share. Thank you!!
