Timmy Conway’s health fund

Hi all!

Our dear friend Timmy Conway is facing many hurdles and anyone that has ever worked for Cape Air knows that we are (and always will be) like family. And the Cape Air family is a big one. Full of many friends who when working together made or still make for a special workplace. When talking to Tim, I know he has so many great memories working in SOC and interacting with so many over the 2+ decades he dedicated to his job. Each location and most every department were filled with friends whom he spoke with daily. Sadly, Tim has fallen on some tough times living in the Philippines with his wife, Mailyne and her three kids (Martin 14, Matthew 12 and Maiyah 10). It's a different culture, everyone is so nice but due to a variety of reasons it's gotten to a point of them just making it day by day. As most of you know, Tim has struggled with his diabetes health of over 43 years. The expenses of insulin and medical supplies take a toll on his family. His vision has worsened and Peripheral and Autonomic neuropathy have limited him as well. This idea of asking for help was not easy for Tim to accept, but he is reluctantly swallowing his pride and allowing us to try and help! When he reached out to me and the Cape Air family for help, we knew this was the attempt we wanted to help with. In Tims own words:

I understand everyone has their challenges, so please, please, please DO NOT feel pressured or obligated if you cannot help. Zero hard feelings and it's totally understandable. If you are able to contribute any amount, pooled together, will make a huge difference. It will allow us to breathe easier and find a better path forward. We have been unable to find something else that works after our business was shut down for the pandemic. Thank you so much for your time and I hope and pray you all stay safe, healthy and happy.
