TIM MCCOY PUT CANCER ON THE BENCH FUNDRAISER.
Tim McCoy has been proud to be a Roanoke City Deputy Sheriff since 2000. He is a Master Deputy and for the last 5 years is has been a DARE Officer at the Roanoke City Elementary Schools. When he is not at work, he is a devoted husband and devoted power lifter at Golds Gym. He has taken care of his family, community, fellow Law Enforcment Officers and gym friends and now its time for us to take care of him. Tim was diagnosed with colon cancer in May of 2015 and has been fighting like the true competitor he has always been. He has been in the hospital since December 21st and the hospital expenses and other expenses are overwhelming. Not to mention going from a two income family to a one income family. My name is Jeannie McCoy and Tim is my answered prayer. When I prayed for the perfect husband, God sent him to me. I love this man and I will not give up on him. I have stayed in the hospital with him and will do everything I can for him. The only thing I cannot do is pay for all of the expenses. We don't have alot of money and what we did have is gone. Tim did his job because he loved his job, not because he thought he would get rich. There is no other job in the world he wanted to do other than be a Master Deputy. We are asking for anything you can do to help us with the hundereds of thousands of dollars in expenses we have incurred. If you cannot donate please just pray. We are expecting our miracle.
