Tim Lyons - a son, a brother, a husband, and a father of 4, has been fighting a lifelong battle with diabetes and its detrimental effects to his overall health. Since his diagnosis at the early age of 6, Tim has dealt with the loss of his sight after countless eye surgeries and fought numerous other ailments, most recently the shutdown of his kidneys leading to the need for dialysis. Yet, he has faced all of these challenges with a smile on his face and inspired the countless people he has encountered over his life acting as a model for the power of positivity and faith in the face of adversity.

Now Tim needs our help, our positivity, and our faith. With his health concerns looming, a light rises on the horizon in the form of hope - a double transplant, both pancreas and kidney, that could drastically extend Tim's life and improve his overall quality of life.

This opportunity comes with a heavy price - both financially, and the life altering effect on Tim's family to uproot for an unknown period of time. Tim and his wife, Tina, will have to leave their home in Quincy, IL and travel to Wisconsin where they will have to stay for the surgery and recovery - a process that could stretch for months.
