It Takes A Village
Brandi and Breanna Lester are the twin daughters of former NFL star, Tim Lester. While their premature entrance into the world left them with multiple disabilities, their village, with Tim at the helm, made sure their needs were met. With the untimely death of their father and their future uncertain, their village is asking for financial support from the concerned and the compassionate. Tim’s Love
Identical twins, Brandi Nicole and Breanna Nicole Lester, are virtual carbon copies of Timothy (Tim) Lee Lester. While some called him “The Bus Driver,” because he blocked for “The Bus,” Jerome Bettis, to his girls, he was simply, “Daddy.”
The twins were in such a hurry to meet him, they decided to arrive three months early. When they were in the womb, he bonded with them. They knew his voice and responded when he spoke to them. When they arrived, tiny and frail, that same voice, their father’s voice, made them strong.
Brandi and Breanna arrived among a unique set of circumstances: severe cerebral palsy, underdeveloped vital organs, respiratory disease, and a host of other conditions that made their survival unlikely. But they had Tim Lester's genes. Between their DNA and Tim’s devotion, they have lived 27 years on this earth with him as their captain. Because of his untimely death on January 12, 2021, they will have to brave this world without their hero and support system.
Brandi’s Story
Brandi has a sweet, loving personality that is sometimes overshadowed by severe cerebral palsy, autism, and an undeveloped cerebellum. She is incontinent, entirely non-verbal, and has the intellectual capacity of a five-year-old. Because of her multiple disabilities, she requires 24-hour care.
Breanna's Story
Breanna was also impacted by her premature birth. She is autistic, blind in one eye, and her intellectual functioning is compromised. She is in ongoing therapy. Despite these challenging circumstances, she has been able to take a few junior college courses. Most recently, she took a social media class and was looking forward to working with her father on his social media platforms. Breanna loves to read and write, and hopes to enroll in a local junior college that offers supervision for students with special needs.

Brandi’s 24-hour care is expensive. The classes and therapy for Breanna are also very costly. Historically, Tim covered these expenses, but now, the girls' future is uncertain.
