Tim Lang is Kicking Cancer's Butt!
Donation protected
A year ago, my brother Tim and his wife Ruth made a decision to chase their dream- to move to Key West- because life is too short and they didn’t want to look back and say “I wished we would have…” Recently it never became so clear what “Life is too short” could really mean….
That’s because about 10 days ago Tim was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer of the esophagus. They thought it was an ulcer and never did they think they would hear the word CANCER.
Tim is 52 years young. He is a father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend- but most of all, the husband and best friend to Ruth. He is a fun loving guy who has enjoyed life, especially this last year with his toes in the sands of Key West. But now all of that changes.
Next week he will begin a barrage of tests, x-rays, scans and have his chemo port put in his chest. He will travel regularly to Miami, over three hours each way. Hopefully this chemo will shrink the cancer enough to surgically remove it. If not, then six weeks of daily radiation will be next.
I am asking for your help! Tim is no longer able to work while he begins this fight. Ruth already works 2 jobs and will undoubtedly miss some work to be by his side whenever possible. Their financial burden will become greater with each day, each trip to Miami and each procedure that is done. I want them to be able to stay strong and fight this fight – not worry about how they will pay their bills! Any amount is appreciated and will help them KICK CANCER’S BUTT! We appreciate prayers of support and any donation you might be able to give. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
