REBUILDING A WOODWORKER'S PASSION


My boyfriend's dad is Tim Jamar. For the past 20+ years he has had a woodworking shop where he spent each and every day sorting through unique pieces of barn wood, and then proceeding to build some of the most amazing primitive furniture you have ever seen. 

Six weeks ago tragedy struck. His shop caught fire for an unknown reason and the Fire Department was unable to put it out before absolutely everything was lost, with all 3 buildings burning to the ground. Not only did he lose 20+ years of acquired materials, all of his tools, and several pieces of handmade furniture to be sold, but in a sense he also lost a major part of his livelihood. 

Though a lot of what was lost is irreplaceable, 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Tim in an attempt to re-establish his collection of materials and tools, along with rebuilding a small shop to allow him to get back to doing what he loves most.
