Lets get together and help philip concentrate on getting his family back home where they belong.
As you may or may not know... Philips new baby was born with several severe medical complications. Currently they are waiting for a major heart surgery at Children's Hospital in San Francisco. His wife has been off work since May and Philip has taken a medical leave of absence which has substantially reduced the family income. Tara spends most days at the hospital and comes home only a couple of days a week. Philip and they kids travel to the hospital daily and as you can imagine, the bills are pilling up. We all know Philip. We all know that his is a proud parent, a proud husband, and a proud man. He is not going to ask you for help. If you were in a similar situation, you probably wouldn't ask for help either. Gift cards are nice, thoughts and prayer are good, but when it comes down to it, they don't pay the bills and they certainly don't lessen the stress that builds when you worry about your infant, worry about maintaining a home, or worry about driving to the city again.
Five years ago when my late wife was having a particularly rough battle with leukemia you all stepped up and made a difference. You touched her soul. It is time we all do it again. Step up and make a difference to this beautiful family. Help Phil fill his tank. My personal challenge to you… Fill his tank with gas, pay the tolls to get across the bridges, pay for a day of parking, and buy the guy a lunch. Think about it… a hundred bucks is not all that much to each one of us, but to Phil and his family, it means a lot. A hundred dollars a day is about what he is spending just to see his baby. When at work he has your back, Today you can have his back.
