Cancer is a word we all know, hopefully, for each of us it’s only a word we know and not one that we have to survive.
Deb is a beautiful mother, grandmother, wife and friend, who is now fighting the C word for the second time.
Deb has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer for the second time, this time, it is in her left lung and is small cell cancer, which is a very aggressive form.
The treatment plan is as aggressive as the cancer itself, Deb has started chemo and will start radiation, next week.
This means that Deb will need to have time off work, in the lead up to Christmas.
Deb has a heart of gold and works as a Case manager in a homelessness and domestic violence service, supporting women and children who are homeless and/or escaping DV.
It is now time to give back to a lady that would literally give you the shirt off her back, I have pledged to shave off my massive mop of hair in support of Deb, as she is starting to lose her beautiful blonde hair. This hair will then be cut and donated to sustainable salons, to be made into wigs.
All funds raised will go to Deb, to take a little pressure off, while she is fighting this demon disease.
Any support for Deb would be greatly appreciated x
