I’m currently trying to raise money to cover personal expenses during this time of grieving and healing. On October 7, 2021, I lost my son at 25 weeks. Prior to this, I didn’t feel my baby move for 2 days. The second day is when i realized he hadn’t moved. I went to the hospital just for the doctors to tell me he had no heart beat. They had to induce my labor for me to deliver him because there was nothing else they could do. This was a painful and disheartening process for me. After all of this was said and done, we were forced to find a mortuary to begin the process of cremating him. Days after giving birth I started to experience excruciating pain. I went back to the hospital and realized I had to have a DNC to remove the rest of the placenta and old blood still left in my uterus. This is generally supposed to be a quick and easy procedure but while waiting my blood levels began to drop and they had to rush the procedure. I had to undergo general anesthesia and had to have a blood transfusion because I was hemorrhaging. They from there had to place a barki balloon to hold my uterus in place until my bleeding was under control causing me to spend more time in the hospital. I am now back home trying to heal and grieve. I typically work in a club environment as a bartender/ bottle service manager assistant. I’Ve worked this role throughout my pregnancy even though the environment caused high levels of stress and part of me blames myself for not finding a new job sooner. Being around all the smoke ( although i always wore a mask ) the loud music, girls trying to fight at the end of the night, drunk personalities, trying to stop people from bumping into me etc … So now as I’m taking time to heal and search for new forms of income more conducive to my peace and I’m looking for support to get by in the meantime. So many people are asking me if I need anything or how they can support me and more than anything I just need bought time. Time to figure out my next steps time to process time grieve and heal. More than anything I don’t want to have to go back to what I feel broke me just to stay afloat while I figure things out.
