Support the Startup Grind Kabul Team

After weeks of trips to the Kabul airport, hundreds of phone calls, and dozens of documents and forms, seven Afghan Startup Grind Kabul team members and their immediate families remain in Afghanistan hiding from the Taliban desperate to flee the country to preserve their lives. Their lives are forever changed under the Taliban rule being unable to get money out of their accounts or to work. These SG members and their families are desperate to leave the country and we are doing everything we can to help them leave their home or be supported while in Afghanistan.

We are currently raising money for housing and essential items and their additional expenses. We are working with various contacts, agencies and individuals to see what is the best opportunity for them to leave, whether it be getting a flight directly to the US (hardest option as of today) or getting them to another location in Europe temporarily until their visas are sorted for the US. Since they are a part of our team, we want to provide all the support they need until the are properly re-established in their new environment as refugees hopefully in the US or another western country that we secure visas for.
