Time Off for My Mother's Death

My mother, Sandy Kubica, was diagnosed with terminal cancer last month. Her current prognosis gives her about a week to live.
My mother is my best friend, and I would like to be with her as she passes.
Unfortunately, as a self-employed individual, I don't have the benefit of paid time off. Simply put, if I don't work, I won't make my bills.
So I'm reaching out to you- my community, my friends, and my students- to help afford me the ability to grieve and be with my family in this difficult time.
As part of this process, I'm offering incentives that you may claim for yourself or as a gift certificate for others- a complimentary class, a week, two weeks, or a month of unlimited classes, and private Reiki and yoga sessions. If you're so moved, donations can be made independent of these incentives.
If I reach my stretch goal of $1,000, I will also host a workshop on yoga and grief this September.
