On Saturday, August 28, our good friend, Tim Sewell, had a terrible accident and sustained a severe spinal cord injury. A neurosurgeon and trauma specialists worked through the night to decompress and stabilize his spinal cord. After a lengthy emergency surgery, Tim is in the ICU in Corpus Christi, far from home. His wife, Gaye, and their daughters, Mary Madison and Lauren traveled to get to him as soon as possible. We know their presence gives him great comfort. Only one thing is for sure. He will have a very long road ahead.
Those of you who are acquainted with Tim know he is one of the most positive, energetic people you could ever meet. You also know Tim is always the first one to step up when anyone is in need. While we all know he would never expect it, nor ask, we are hoping to help with his medical expenses, his family’s living expenses and to help him get back to being a joy to everyone he meets. Please consider stepping forward for Tim. Any help would mean so much to him and his family. As Tim begins this long journey, please know he and his family greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
Tim has always appreciated the faith and inspiration of a fellow Tim -- Tim Tebow. We lean on his words now:
“If you believe, unbelievable things can sometimes be possible.”
