Tim, went to Rush Copley Aurora on Jan 28th with intense pain. After 6 days the Dr said it is the worst acute severe pancreatitis he has seen and had Tim transported to RUSH Chicago, to where Tim is today.

After being in ICU for two weeks the breathing tube was removed, infections were minimized, and lab results were improving so Tim was moved to regular care. But here he remains... unchanged. Drs say the pain is unimagineable.

Two thirds of Tims pancreas had necrosized (died). He has 1/3 remaining. We are waiting for internal healing that will show on CT scans so that excess fluid can be drained.

But healing begins with protein nutrition and Tim has been unable to get nutrition as it intensifies his pain and vomits it up. Drs tried a tubefeed for the past two weeks through nose directly to intestine but has been unsuccessful. Yesterday a centerline IV (goes to the heart) was put in to feed him protein...this begins tonite. Let the prayers continue that the centerline iv will work and healing will begin 

As a result, he's had missed mortgage payments, car payments, utilities, etc. 

We are asking everyone contribute what they can. If we can get 90 people to each contribute at least $100 it will reach the goal. 

This is a pressing time to ask ourselves WHAT IS FAMILY? 

Family is a group of people bonded by blood and experience. By Values. By Love. Family is meant for situations like these when one link in the chain becomes weak and needs others help. 

Please join us in helping to contribute, and share this, so that when Tim gets out of the hospital healthy he doesn't have the awful burden of a huge financial stress on him for a disease that he had no control over. 

Once the campaign is finished Tim's dad (Ed) will be distributed the money and use it for paying Tim's ongoing life expenses/obligations, which include mortgage, car payment, utility bills. Ed is already designated as the beneficiary of the campaign.
