This campaign will be funding Timothy Wayne Burge. He is a father, grandfather, son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He is also fighting with a disease called against Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1). Alpha-1 is a genetic condition that can lead to lung disease due to the lack of a protein that protects those organs. Tim and his doctors worked for many years to finally diagnose his condition. Since 2013 he has been on the lung transplant waiting list at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He makes frequent trips for mandatory medical appointments and works tirelessly maintaining his health to stay on that transplant list. Tim has coverage for medications, but the insurance dosen't provide coverage for supplies. Upon completion of the surgery the doctor wants him to relocate to indianapolis for monitoring for at least 4 months because he lives too far away.  All of this has become such a burden on his life over the past few years that he has exhausted all means of income other than his diability benifits. We are trying to raise money for the many costs incurred, to help him get his quality of life renewed, because he deserves his chance to finish this out for his family.
