Ti'mbrya Joy Forever Missed
Donation protected
I'm Candellyn Sierra Tyner. I was the Auntie of Ti’mbrya Joy. I met Timbrya for the first time when she was already a teenager. All smiles, hugs, and happiness rolled into one, and as soon as she sprang into my life, it would never be the same. She was brilliant, beautiful, and opinionated; her limbs were so long they would wrap around you twice when she wanted to snuggle, which was often. She was everything all at once.
Timbrya lived every day for that day. Some days were better than others, just like it is for the rest of us, and as teenagers, we should be free to figure that out for our adult selves. She was curious, not quite sure what she was supposed to do in life, but she knew that she loved it and wanted to live every day being herself in it.
Timbrya was five months into her 17th birthday when Fentanyl took her life.
That tiny number didn’t allow her to do so many things in this life. Things that many of us take for granted every day. Timbrya will never drive, cook her own Thanksgiving Dinner, have a child, graduate…
Timbrya made her final trip home in a plain wooden box and was laid to rest under an old tree in a 200-year-old cemetery. However, because she is in a 200-year-old cemetery, there are rules about what kind of marker/headstone can be placed on her grave; this must be bronze.
This is making the price quite expensive, so currently, Timbrya is under some dirt and hay.
So, to you, my dear friends and family, I’m reaching out and asking for your help. Will you help me get a marker for Ti? Will you help me give Timbrya a permanent place to rest?
Thank you for your love and support.
