Timber Trails Golf Course Disaster Relief
Donation protected
Hurricane Laura caused severe damage to so many lives, property and businesses. My dad owns a 9 hole golf course in Pineville, LA that took a direct hit from Laura. The damage is extensive, way more than Rita did when I lived and worked there. The cleanup will be ongoing for a very long time. My dad is a lifetime PGA member and is also a Class A Superintendent. He runs the course by himself and one assistant. I’m starting this fund for those of us that would love to contribute our time to help but cannot and for those who understand how hard golf superintendents work to maintain a nice outdoor recreation option for so many in their communities. For all those in the golf business who have been affected by natural disasters I hope you will consider a small gift. All funds raised will go directly towards the cleanup efforts and helping Timber Trails Golf Course, one of the few family owned courses in Louisiana get back on its feet. This course does not get tax dollars for cleanup like the other courses in Alexandria/Pineville that are owned by the city and state.
