Tim Sutphin’s Family

Tim Sutphin was the most kind-hearted and selfless man. Every time you saw Tim around Salem, there was no doubt that you would notice the biggest and brightest smile on his face. It was also no doubt that his love for Christ shined through every aspect of his life. He shared the good news of Christ every where he went. Tim was passionate about serving in his local Church, Bethel Baptist. He loved supporting small business’ like the Dilly Dally and was loved greatly by the Salem community. His passion to broadcast Salem Football games via WSUT was used to give access to those who couldn’t witness the games in person - it was beloved and appreciated by the community and was where his personality really showed out. Tim also served in the Salem Police Department, but his most favorite occupations were being a dad to his two boys, Carson and Chandler & a husband to his wife, Kelly. He lit up any room he entered and never failed to crack a joke. We lost a true Spartan and the most selfless man with the biggest heart of God. The Sutphin family will appreciate any donation towards hospital and funeral costs. Please continue to keep the family and loved ones of Tim in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
