It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Simmons.

Tim’s bright and vibrant light was undeniable and our world feels a little dimmer today without him. Always the first to crack a joke, to offer a helping hand, to give his last to someone who had less, and to share a faith-filled word of encouragement, his presence in this world is already so deeply missed.

Nothing mattered more to Tim than his faith and his family - both the family he was born with and the family he lovingly chose. He had many hobbies but family gatherings were his favorite activity and we’ll forever feel the hole his absence leaves.

Tim leaves behind his beloved wife Karen, who in his own words, he loved since the day he laid eyes on her, his children Cynthia, Sarah, and Tyler, who he loved with all of his heart, his granddaughter Laurin, his siblings and countless extended family and friends whose lives he touched.

In 2009 Tim tragically suffered a work-related accident, beginning a decade-plus long battle with related medical complications. Through it all Tim kept everyone around him smiling with his child-like excitement and bright spirit, and proudly remained the family’s faithful provider.

Stunned and devastated by this sudden loss we have set up this page to help Karen as she navigates funeral and memorial costs as well as the financial commitments she and Tim shared together. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this challenging time.
