My name is Joanna, and my son Timothy is 29 years old as of April 30th. On February 2nd 2020, after many trips to the urgent care and ER for multiple different issues, he was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer). His prognosis was 30days if not treated immediately. He began treatment as quickly as possible with fighting for referrals and prior authorizations with the insurance. It's about 3 1/2 months in now and he was able to be there for his daughter to turn 11 and for him to turn 29, but it is not looking like he will be able to see his son turn 6. His strengthen is weakening everyday and he is no longer able to get up on his own. He is in constant pain that even the high doses of medication are not containing. It has spread throughout his body.
It's very difficult to watch your son who is supposed to out live you dwindle away before your eyes, but it is more difficult to see the disappointment in his eyes of the life he will not be able to live. His children he won't be able to see grow up, or the grandchildren he won't know.
This account will not only be used for his funeral and final expenses but what ever is left will be set aside for his children, to help with lives he won't be able to see happen.
Please give what you can. Thank you.
