Tim Ryan Memorial Fundraiser

On December 10th, 2021 local Dunkirk, NY resident Timothy (Tim) Ryan at the age of 25 years old was admitted to Brooks Memorial Hospital after contracting COVID-19. It was an uphill fight for Tim since his admission where on the 14th he had to be Starflighted to UPMC Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for further treatment. After weeks in the hospital he was put in the ICU on a ventilator being treated for bacterial pneumonia and was also been put on dialysis. On the night of December 24th, 2021 heaven gained another angel as Tim passed on earning his wings. His passing has been a heart-breaking shock to his friends and family as well as the community.

In the wake of this his fiancé Destiny was wrongfully terminated from her job for “job abandonment” when she went to be by his side as he was put on life support even after following proper protocol.

The goal of this GoFundMe is to raise money for Tim’s family to support their trip to Pittsburgh to care for him, to cover the medical expenses of his treatment, cover all funeral expenses, and to continue paying for the newly bought house Tim and his fiancé had purchased before his passing. We ask you all to open your hearts to this wonderful family who is suffering the unimaginable effects of covid-19 and their loss. Tim was one of the kindest people one could meet, unbelievably generous in all he did, he would give the shirt off his back if needed. The world needs more people like Tim. He was taken far too soon.
