Tim Reed’s path to recovery

On Friday, December 27, Dad and Laurie arrived from Myrtle Beach to spend the weekend in NOVA to celebrate Christmas with the family. 

On Saturday, December 28, we started our day with the news that dad had a stroke. He was on his way to visit his parent’s graves when he started to feel funny. Unsure of what was happening he turned around and drove himself safely to the hospital...remarkably!

The family is now facing a long road and many challenges. Dad remains in the ICU and every time we get a little hope he then declines. It’s not just a medical roller coaster right now, it’s emotional and financial too.

With medical bills, lack of income for normal day to day expenses (we have no idea if and when Dad can return to work), pet care while they are away from home, and so many other expenses...we are asking for your help!
