Tim Pool: Inoperable Pancreatic and Liver Cancer

Hi, my name is Sandy Pool, and I am raising money for my brother, Tim Pool.

Tim is a single father and was diagnosed in July 2022 with inoperable Stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. His oncologist said he has 3-12 months to live, but the cancer is progressing quickly. He began chemo treatments in August because he wants a fighting chance to prolong his life. Tim continues to be strong even though the outcome of the diagnosis is not what we had hoped. #TIMPOOLCANCERSUCKS

What will the funds be used for?

We are raising money to help with medical costs that may not be covered by insurance and living expenses since Tim is unable to work. He is the sole breadwinner in the household.

About Tim

• First and foremost, Tim is the proud father of a 14-year-old (who lives at home) and a 26-year-old. He also has two grandchildren.

• Our mom passed away in 2013, and our dad passed on 2018. They were proud of the man and father he became.

• Tim is the only son in our family and has four sisters, whom he tormented on a regular basis as our big brother. LOL

• There are many stories of the pranks he played on friends and family. Boy, could he tell some really good jokes!

• Tim has never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

• He spent most of his life living on Whidbey Island in Washington; he has been living in Southern Oregon since 2018.

• Tim served in the military as an MP (Military Police) and was stationed at Fort Ord Army Base in California.

• He worked at Safeway for 23 years, during which time Tim developed lasting friendships and enjoyed helping his customers.

• Every Saturday, Tim enjoys going to yard sales to see what “good deals” he could find. Unfortunately, recently he had to stop as his cancer is progressing quickly, and he does not have the stamina nor can he drive any longer.
