Tim O'Donnell Medical & Cost of Living Bills
Donation protected
On December 7, 2023, two weeks before his 53rd birthday, my brother-in-law went to the E.R. with bad stomach pain. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic AND Stage 4 liver cancer. The cancer is also in his lymph nodes, abdomen, and spreading everywhere. There is no treatment for cancer at these stages, but chemotherapy will give him additional months of life, and a surgically implanted pain medicine device will provide him relief from excruciating pain.
Although he was able to retain his health insurance, Tim has no disability coverage and therefore no income; their family is relying completely on his loving wife Shari. Despite insurance, co-pays for medication, chemotherapy, and the surgery for the pain medicine device are extensive. Their family can use all the support they can get to cover these costs.
The co-pay bills have already reached five-figures and it's only been one month since his diagnosis.
Tim's family includes his amazingly strong wife, Shari Mask, his sons Jaden (18) and Logan (13) and his stepdaughters Anabel (16) and Cadee (15).
One of Tim's dreams before his time comes is to return to his home state of New York to visit family and take his children to his favorite spots. We doubt there will be leftover funds, but if there are, we will try to send him home for a visit if he's healthy enough to travel.
