"For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into
being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn,
eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain."
Bhagavad Gita. 2:16 -20
Join us to wish fare well to a great soul that left this world on Tuesday, July 24th. We will be gathering to pay our respects, wish farewell, and celebrate the beautiful life of Timothy G. O'Connor. He was an amazing husband, incredible father a family of 13, grandfather to 27, and a friend and companion to many.
We will be honoring his departure with a Paddle Out and a Celebration of Life / Memorial Service at Strands Beach in Dana Point, on Sunday, August 12th. The paddle out will be a ceremony to honor his love for the ocean, where actually he spent his last moments of life. We will also be hosting any who would like to join us on the Bluff of Niguel Shores, above Strands Beach, for his memorial service where we can honor and celebrate his life, exchange stories and memories of his presence, and celebrate the amazing spirit soul he was.
Everything has been moving so quickly and chaotically, so we are still trying to tally up and lock in the true cost of all the fees, but the funds we are raising on this page will given to Tim's wife, Kathy, to be used towards his memorial service, the costs of his cremation process, and any other medical bills incurred.
My name is Dina O'Connor, Tim's youngest daughter, and I have created this fund in an effort to take the stress off my mom, Kathy, of planning and paying for my dad's memorial service. It is an emotional time for our family, and I figured the last thing my mom needs right now is to be worrying about planning this event.
All funds raised from this page will be used to pay for the service itself, including food, beverages, flowers, gift bags for our guests, and all other expenses incurred on this day, as well as the fees for his cremation service. Any and all other funds left over will be given in cash directly to my mom Kathy for any remaining bills or fees incurred during this time. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and continues to keep our family in your prayers.
