Tim O'Connor has been a part of the Penguin Computing family for over 8 years now. Anyone that knows him knows he's a proud, hard working member of the assembly team.
Early June this year, Tim was not feeling well. After a visit to his doctor, he was immediately admitted to Emergency for testing. During the testing, a cancerous tumor was discovered on his left kidney.
On June 16th Tim went into surgery, and the doctors removed the entire left kidney. The surgery was successful, and less than a month later, Tim returned to light duty work on the assembly line!
Tim's journey is not yet over. On August 21st, Tim will visit the doctor to see if all the cancer was removed, and see if any further treatment is needed.
As most people know, just living in the Bay Area is a challenge. Adding all the medical bills he is responsible for makes it almost impossible. I am reaching out on the behalf of Tim for some financial help at this time. The money will help Tim pay all his medical bills and assist with any further treatments.
