As a Life Scout in Troop 27 Glen Rock, I am beginning my Eagle Scout Service Project to benefit the students of the CTC Academy. I will be building an outdoor sensory garden for the Oakland campus as well as an indoor mobile tiered sensory garden that can be moved between classrooms for the students that can’t go outside. 

The CTC Academy is a non-profit organization that provides educational and therapeutic services for students with various disabilities.  My brother Jude has been a student at the CTC Academy since he was 18 months old. I have witnessed first hand the amazing things the teachers and staff have done for all of the students.

I am required to raise all of the funds necessary for this project. The Sensory Garden will be completed with your gracious donations and volunteers from my Troop, my family and friends. A donation of any size is greatly appreciated. If I exceed my goal of $2,500, the remaining funds will be donated directly to the CTC Academy.
