Timothy (Tim) John Pwatuk Nayokpuk, 44 years old, of Shishmaref, Alaska, passed away on April 26, 2023 in Nome, Alaska and is now peacefully with the Lord. He will forever be missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. Tim was born December 14, 1978 in Nome, Alaska to Catherine (Aggie) Nayokpuk. He had three sons with Nora Iyatunguk named Kenny, 18, Corben, 14 and Gilford, 11. He also had a grandson named Jordan Pwatuk who is 6 months old.
We are raising funds for Tim’s funeral expenses and to help his three sons and grandson during this difficult time. Some expenses that need to be covered are:
- Airfare for his immediate family who flew from Shishmaref to Nome where he passed away. Food/grocery expenses while in Nome.
- Airfare costs for Tim to return home.
- All expenses associated with funeral costs including but not limited to casket, flowers, suit and tie, headstone/cross and more.
- Additional funds raised will be for his sons for basic costs of living, like housing bills and especially groceries for these growing boys in the remote village of Shishmaref. It will also cover his new grandsons pampers.
- If funds exceed the amount needed for basic costs, they will go towards his three sons additional needs like shoes, jackets, clothing and more. Also, it will cover any additional needs for his grandson.
