Tim Miller - Recovery Support

Friends we are asking for support for a very private family. Tim Miller has been in a horrible accident. Typical of Tim he is fighting to recover quickly - his back is broken, his broken neck is healing from surgery, his ventilator has been removed, and as his severe concussion subsides his wife, Gay was able to report that he knew by name the familiar faces that came to visit. She has been spending every night 40 miles from their home to be with him in the hospital. Anything you can donate will go directly to Tim and Gay for their mounting bills, travel costs, and upcoming rehabilitation. 

I live across across the country now, but my youth was spent living 4 houses down from the Miller’s. Their daughter, Angel and I went to high school together, their son Matt was in the same grade as my brother, and Tim could always be found smiling at his grocery store in our little town. Anyone who has been in Craigmont, Idaho knows Berry’s Grocery. It’s the only store and  it has been providing families with basics and great meats for many years. Tim was always there smiling from the aisles or from behind his meat counter. Gay worked just down Main Street from their grocery in her hair salon. (It was hard to move away and find someone new to cut my hair!) 

I share all this because they won’t. They are humble, hardworking, kind people that have always taken pride by being involved in our community, and their kids and grandkids sports. I have never known Tim to sit still very long. I know he wants to heal to be back in his grocery, working in his yard, riding his bike, playing with and cheering on his grandkids.
