Dear Friends of Tim Hodgson,
Update: We have increased the fundraising goal from 5,000. To 10,000 as we have just been told by the Coroner’s Office that because there has been no next-of-kin identified, they will not allow cremation to take place and, therefore, there must be a burial. We are awaiting the cost of this, however, we have been advised it will be considerably more than we had originally thought.
As mentioned further down in this story, in the event there are any funds left over, they will be donated to the SPCA, LCCA and War Veteran’s Association.
Thank you for your generous support and let’s make sure we can provide our great friend an appropriate send off.

We are all very shocked and saddened by the news of Tim's sudden death. But now there are some practical matters that need to be attended to. Tim has no next-of-kin in Bermuda, and there are no available resources for a funeral service.
We are therefore asking for contributions to cover these costs for this very special man, a friend to each of us, and to Bermuda.
We would like to raise a minimum of $5,000 (£3, 800) to cover the costs of cremation, and for a memorial service and wake in mid-January. Further details on the memorial service will be announced as arrangements are made.
If any funds are left over, they will be donated to the following Bermudian charities in Tim's name: the SPCA, the LCCA and the War Veterans Association.
Thank you in advance for your donations.
Gavin, Linda & Jessie Wilson, Gill Tod, Gavin & Sylvia Shorto
I am Jessica Wilson, Tim’s Goddaughter. The funds will be come into my personal account to pay for the expenses of his funeral and memorial service, and additional funds will be sent to the charities mentioned above in Tim’s name.
