Tim Hinchliffe battle agains cancer
Donation protected
Let me begin with saying I have never met Tim but feel like I know him deeply. I have known Tessa for at least 6 years now, she is an amazing person with so much joy to give. Just over a year ago she told me about his guy she met, how magical their first date was; I could see a spark in her that I'd never noticed before - you can really tell a lot about a person by how they affect those around them so I thought Tim must be a really great guy. I heard story after story over the next year including their engagement and their plans for their wedding. I received a call from Tessa just over a week before their wedding that Tim had been diagnosed with cancer, a word no one ever wants to hear let alone a week before your wedding. Tessa's words are below but I ask that you please consider donating any dollar amount to these beautiful people who are both self employed (Tim not able to work during treatment) and will definitely be impacted by the loss of an income and accumulation of medical bills.
***One of the worst things to hear from a Doctor is word "cancer." Tim was hit with the diagnosis of stage 3 testicular cancer in early June 2020, just a month before their wedding. The timing of the news coming just after having their businesses shut down for over 2 month due to the covid-19 pandemic as both of their jobs were considered non-essential.
Tim is a massage therapist, and body worker working very closely with his clients to improve quality of function and to reduce pain on the body. Due to the close nature of the job, Tim and Tessa agreed that it was too great of a risk to Tim's health to continue his practice during chemotherapy when Tim's immune system is greatly compromised. As a result, this leaves Tessa as sole provider and care giver during Tim's treatment program lasting over 2 months.
Cancer brings with it an incredible level of stressors, one big one being financial stress. Not to mention receiving a diagnosis of cancer during a global pandemic! ***
Thank you to anyone who offers prays, positive thoughts, an ear to listen, or a monetary donation. All are greatly welcome and appreciated.
