We're Josh and Diana, proud parents of our son Tim, and we're launching this GoFundMe to support him on his incredible lifelong journey to complete the Oceans 7 Challenge -- one of the toughest open water swimming achievements in the world.
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Tim successfully swam the Kaiwi Channel, a grueling swim between Moloka‘i and O‘ahu that took him 15 hours and 27 minutes covering 34 miles. He became the youngest in Hawai`i to swim across the channel! It was an unforgettable moment, and just one of the seven epic swims he's aiming to complete. Next up: either the Catalina Channel or the Strait of Gibraltar in August or September of this year.
These swims require more than just grit and training -- they come with serious logistical and financial challenges. Your support will help cover:
