We’re raising money for my father-in-law, Tim Haire. He’s scheduled for a major back surgery next week that he desperately needs. We’re asking for your help raising money to cover his medical bills and daily expenses since he’ll be out of work for at least 8 weeks.

Tim is the most amazing man I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful to have him as my father-in-law. His family is his everything, and this life-changing surgery will make sure he can still enjoy and play with his three grandchildren for years to come. If you know Tim, you know he’s been battling back pain for years and has put off the surgery because of financial concerns and to take care of his late father. He’s always willing to give up anything for someone in need. He finally has a chance at a much better quality of life, so can we please lend a helping hand during this tough time? About Tim:

Tim recently got diagnosed with a vertebral disorder that’s causing his nerves around his spinal cord to shut down. If this keeps going, he could end up paralyzed. Because of his back pain, he hasn’t been able to enjoy life much, and it’s been tough for him to run calls with the fire department, get things done at work, and even play with his grandchildren. He hasn’t been able to hold his newest grandson, Weston, because he doesn’t have feeling in his hands. Tim is a loving grandfather to three beautiful children: Magnolia, Weston, and Oaklyn. They’re his world, and he loves them more than anything. He’s an Albemarle, NC native and graduated from Albemarle High School. There, he was a proud member of the marching band, where he played the trombone. He loves all kinds of music and hopes to share it with his grandchildren. He enjoys woodworking and making things with his hands. He’s currently serving his community as a volunteer firefighter at Ridgecrest Fire Department and has also volunteered with Oakboro Fire Department. He’s been in retail for over 35 years and is currently an assistant manager at Southern States in Monroe. We’re asking for your help to get Tim the surgery he needs so he can get his life back.

The money we raise will go directly to Tim. It’s for the cost of his surgery and hospital stay, plus any other medical expenses that come up.
