Hi, I'm Mike and I'm raising funds for my friend and neighbor Tim Friberg and his partner Vicki. Tim is a well-known and well-loved Mountain resident and auto mechanic, who always goes out of his way to help his neighbors out with their cars, well pumps, generators and pretty much anything they need. To our immense shock and grief, Tim was shot on Thursday, April 27, outside his home, in a seemingly random act of violence: he was badly wounded and is now in stable but critical condition at Valley Medical Center in Santa Clara. Several of his friends and clients have already reached out to offer financial support, and I know there must be many more in the Mountains who will feel the same way, so I am creating this fundraiser in the hope of defraying his medical expenses and helping him and his partner Vicki during this terrible time. All funds will be collected in a bank account we have created specially for this purpose, from where they will be disbursed as needed: directly to the institutions involved, or to Vicki, while Tim is incapacitated, and subsequently, in anticipation of his eventual recovery, to Tim himself.
