Hi, My name is Shaun I am trying to raise enough money to help a man I consider a great friend and brother from another mother. He just lost his home and all of his lifelong belongings, to a house fire. He made it out alive with just his long johns and his yellow lab. Tim is a lifelong Nevadan and it shows, he served our country in the Military in places most of us can not imagine. He has always looked out for others and served his community with the selflessness we should all aspire to. He, like many of us, could no longer afford home insurance on his fixed income. Tim Dotson is Hero in our community and can use our help. He is literally starting from scratch in his mid-70s and knows his only option is to keep marching forward. Any amount we can raise will help put a roof back over his head and let him get back to helping others as he has always done. This is our chance to show a man like Tim that we also understand the importance of helping our neighbors and fellow man. It feels good to help and it's good for the soul, I think we can all use some of that.
Thank you, Tims friend
We are getting closer to bringing Tim a house. We are currently looking for a 1000-gallon Poly Septic tank and infiltrators. A friend lent me his backhoe so we hope to get the dirt work done in a couple of weeks. Please ask any friends that might have a tank they didn't use, the tank is going to be a big expense. Cousin Dave got the mobile home ready to tow and moved it into storage, until we get the site ready for it. Thank you to everyone for their generous donations. We are looking at around a $10,000 minimum cost over what we have raised so far just to get a roof over his head and power hooked up. Please forward this to any organizations that help veterans in need. Thank you, Shaun
