In July 2020, Tim was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroendocrine Pancreatic Cancer. In addition to a large tumor on the head of his pancreas, doctors have found innumerable tumors on his liver. They are aggressive, and spreading rapidly. He has many months ahead of chemotherapy treatments and possible surgeries to treat his cancer. This gofundme has been set up by his family to help support the Bishops during this ordeal.
Tim is an incredible husband and father of seven children (six living), ranging in ages 2 - 14. He's dedicated his life in service to others; even when facing this diagnosis his focus is still outward.
In Tim's own words, "A miracle in this case may be an extension of my own life, or it may be getting someone to pray that has not prayed in years. My deepest hope is that it includes strength coming to my wife and children as they suffer the brunt of the emotional, psychological, financial, etc. effects of the next months and years."
With Tim as the sole source of income for the family, they are looking at a significant financial burden due to medical and other expenses over the near future. We are hoping that these funds can help to relieve that burden and allow them as a family to focus on Tim's treatment and supporting one another during this difficult time.
Tim and Tiffany do not want anyone to feel obligated to donate on their behalf. However, for those who have expressed a desire to help financially and have the means to do so, they are grateful for the love and support.
If there are those who would rather donate directly and immediately to the family, you may Venmo @TimBishopCancerFund, an account that is being managed by Tim and Tiffany's sister-in-law, Laurel Dorff.
