Tim and Jeff's Mission Trip to Peru
I would like to share with you an amazing opportunity that has come up and ask for you to become our partners through prayer and/or financial support. God has opened the door for my brother-in-law Jeff Cieslewicz and I to travel to Lima, Peru to serve God and the families in the Puente Piedra suburb. The trip is July 26-August 2. This will be my second trip to Little Lambs of Lima and Jeff’s first. We are very excited to be a part of this trip and see how God can use us to bless the people of Peru.
Little Lambs of Lima, a vision of Pastor Gary Tustin from Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, began in 2003 as a feeding center. Today, there is a church, vocation center, elementary school, a bakery and a feeding center in Puente Piedra.
Each year, a summer mission team travels to Peru to meet some current needs of the community. During this year’s trip, we will be working with Little Lambs of Lima to build four humble homes for the homeless families, will conduct a Bible School for children, as well as street ministry.
We are asking for your help to make this trip possible. Each team member is required to raise $1100 for this trip to pay for airfare, room and board. We are asking for you to be our partners through either contributing a donation to help pay for this trip or through prayer for our group.
