Tim and Becky's Medical Fund

Hi, My name is Cheryl and I am creating this fund for my sister and brother-in-law Becky and Tim Flanagan. As many of you know, Tim developed Pneumonia in December and was flown to Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA on life support. He was put on an ECMO machine in an attempt to save his life. At the time, his prognosis was grave and was not expected to survive. Five months later, Tim is considered a medical anomaly as the physicians still do not know what is causing it. At the same time, Tim is considered a medical miracle as he was showing signs of healing.

Last month, Becky was also admitted into the hospital with bilateral pneumonia and sepsis which caused her to remain in the hospital for almost a week but is recovering.

Earlier this month Tim was discharged to rehab to begin learning to walk again. Shortly after he arrived he had another medical emergency and was rushed to Concord Hospital in respiratory distress and even with high levels of oxygen, he is struggling to breathe as well as being diagnosed with pneumonia, again. Tim has started to respond to the antibiotics, but again last night he struggled to breathe and remains in the hospital.

Tim was the main provider before being hospitalized back in December. Becky has struggled to keep afloat financially, taking care of their two young sons TJ (5) and Bear (3) and making the many trips to be with Tim. Their financial stability is critical right now and it may be a long time, if ever, that he may be able to work again. These two people would give the shirts off their backs and have always been there for everyone that needed help.

I am hoping to raise some money for them in the hopes to relieve some of the financial burdens from them so that they can focus on Tim's recovery. This family is going through a tremendous amount of pain and struggle and they need help. All funds will go directly to them.
