Tim & Kathy McDonald (Macadoo's) Benefit

Timothy McDonald was born on October 16th, 1956 (hence the date of trivia). He was born in to a family of five siblings, and one of the most amazing mothers a son could ask for. She taught him hard work, how to laugh, and to take every opportunity that is presented to him. In 1981 he started Macadoo’s Family Restaurant which has been in our family for a little over 30 years. We survived through many things but COVID has taken a toll. My parents are the kind of people that worry about everyone else before themselves, so they took a step back during this crazy time and not work so others could get the hours they needed to feed their families. So in turn, just like everyone during COVID, times were tough. Not shortly after, my dad suffered from a massive stroke. It quite frankly was the scariest experience I have ever been apart of. If you know my dad and my relationship, then you know he is my best friend. I would do anything for my parents and this is my token of appreciation for them. They deserve it. Macadoo’s deserves it, and if they have touched you or if Macadoo’s has been there for you at some point, please help me by showing them the appreciation they deserve. Thank you for being a part of our lives.
