Tilt Arcade Bar Needs You

We are finally going to have to reach out and ask for help.

Tilt was started with a passion for creating a great inclusive arcade space that was for everybody in Toronto. An idea of an affordable way to come and play great vintage arcade and pinball in a warm spot with games to help create some amazing memories.

There have been a few road blocks along the way….

Our first location was sold out from under us and forced us to move to our existing spot, the move was expensive and it seemed impossible to re-create the amazing bar over again. But we did it, and all of our amazing customers followed us over and we were happy to have our new home.

Covid then hit the world and every aspect of owning a bar became impossible to predict. Lockdowns, mandates, capacity restrictions, and intermittent grants and funding made it seem impossible. But we made it through!

On Saturday May 7th the apartment above our space had a substantial fire. Our space was smoke and water damaged as the Toronto Fire Department helped to contain it. Insurance is starting work to get us back up and running but it isn’t going to cover everything and it’s hard to predict when we will be back open. We have amazing staff who love their job and love this bar, and we want to make sure we can keep wages going while this is underway and start the much needed process of the re-build. Again.

We haven’t reached out up until this point, but we are going to have to. Please help us build TILT back up so we don’t lose this amazing space.
