Donations Needed for Tilly’s Medical Emergency
Donation protected
Tilly is the most loving Shih-Tzu you could ever imagine. She never has even so much as growled at anyone. She is the love of my life who loves to travel and would be content in someone’s arms getting and giving love 24/7.
New Update: Tilly went a few days ago for the abdominal Ultrasound to confirm the liver shunt and unfortunately that is what we are dealing with. We are now up to $9 thousand dollars not including the surgery that will be needed. Please any donation helps and is really appreciated.
thank you for considering giving to her health.
UPDATE: Thursday May 22nd, Tilly was seen by the Neurologist at Scan in Clearwater. They performed x-rays, MRI, and a spinal tap plus administered medications. The spinal fluid is being sent off to a lab so w still don’t have a definitive diagnosis but as of now it’s looking like a liver shunt. Next Thursday Tilly will be getting a Bile Acids test and an abdominal ultrasound. Once these last two test are completed the answers should be clear. If it is a liver shunt the good news is that it is treatable. As of right now we have Tilly at home and praying that the medication starts her on her road to recovery. So far Tilly’s medical bills have exceeded $7000. We can’t thank everyone enough who has donated. Without help from our friends and family we would not be able to give this beautiful baby the amazing care that she needs to continue to receive.

About 4 days ago, she was fine one moment and then in an instant, totally paralyzed. I’ve taken her to the vet every day and we have run every test, but we still don’t have a diagnosis. The next step is to take her to see a neurologist to have an MRI and spinal tap done. I was given an estimate of $5000-$6000. That’s over our budget, especially after all the money paid out this week to her regular veterinarian.
Please help bring our girl back to her loving self full of life. This was not an easy decision to ask for help, but at this point, I feel like I have to try anything and everything that could help pay for Tilly’s medical care.
