Tilly Lou Fosburgh's Battle!
Donation protected
This sweet family has had a tough year; they basically had to gut their house because of mold, structual issues, etc. making it unsafe for the couple and their two beautiful daughters to stay in their home. The bright light in their journey while trying to get their home repaired and safe was finding out they were expecting a baby, Matilda Louise "Tilly Lou". This family was the greatest support to my son, Lane and me when we were facing the darkest hours of our lives when we lost Emily. This family took him under their wing and gave me great comfort when I was 3000 miles away. I knew he had this couple to watch over him and Emmie was nurturing him like only the best of moms could do. Now, the Fosburgh's need our help as their little Tilly is fighting for her life. Please help if you can, no amount is too small. The following is Emmie's post on Facebook from yesterday:
So sorry for the silence. We so appreciate all the love and excitement for our strong and mighty Tilly! After 3 days of labor and hours of pushing Tilly and I started showing signs of distress. Unfortunately for our sweet baby she swallowed some meconium and it left her unable to breathe on her own for longer than is safe. It led to a seizure which may or may not have left her with some neurological damage. She is currently in the NICU on a ventilator and sedated for a cooling cycle that should prevent any further damage from happening. We will attempt to remove her from the ventilation in a few days and begin our journey to getting this sweet girl home! She is responding incredibly well to anti seizure meds and everything else! We are hopeful and believe whole heartedly that she will live up to her name which means "Strong and Mighty in battle"!!! We appreciate any prayers and vibes and love for our amazing little lady and our two at home who are having to adjust to baby sister not coming home or not being allowed to even see her until she is out. I will be rooming in here at the hospital once im discharged as a patient and am so grateful to be allowed the opportunity! A HUGE thank you to the team at North Fulton Regional Hospital for being INCREDIBLE especially the NICU team who has given us as much opportunity to be by her side as she can handle and doing such an amazing job taking care of our girl! And to our family and friends who have stepped up in so many more ways than we could even imagine!
