Tilly & Jax's Vet Bills

As some of you would have seen on Facebook, on Saturday (Oct 23), Alex and I arrived home from Orange to find our two dogs in a bad way. Tilly was paralysed and Jax was not acting normal but he also acted this way when he knew he had done something naughty. In our panic we thought nothing of it. We rushed Tilly into the Vet where she arrived in cardiac arrest and we were told she was pretty much gone. She was worked on and we manually pumped the ventilator for her. The vet asked if we had any other pets and my heart sunk. Thankfully some amazing people in our lives managed to get to Jax quickly and rush him to the same Vet. He was in a better state than Tilly when he arrived, but still not looking good at all.

Thankfully, after 5 viles of anti venom between them (4 for Tilly and 1 for Jax), drips, oxygen and alot of praying, they seem to have pulled through and made the night. Tilly's lungs had hemoraged so she had alot of internal bleeding which was a massive concern, but it has now stopped. Both dogs are now awake and standing up in their cages. Tillys still on oxygen and the vet wants to see if they have any internal damage but they should be home very soon.

After all the amazing care the Vet and her team have given, we, understandably, are looking at a Vet bill of atleast $7,000, with anti venom costing $1,000 per vile alone, plus all of the other care they received.. I don't feel too comfortable about asking for help but we don't know what's else to do to help get this bill paid. Please don't feel obligated to donate.
