On Dec. 20th, 2016 William Tillman lost his battle with depression and died by suicide. At 66 years of age, Will had given so much to the world, but still had so much more to give. We will forever remember him for his great wit and sense of humor, his genius and creativity, and the love he had for his family. If anyone knows Will, they will agree that there is no one on Earth like him and there never will be again. 

I would like to raise funds to lessen the financial burden on his family. In addition to the deep emotional loss that we face each day, there was a financial loss as well -- Will was the primary breadwinner for many years and his work kept his family afloat. The mortgage on the house has 90,000 remaining, and there are many business and personal debts that remain. In addition, there are funeral expenses. Debbie Tillman, his wife, works full time and is the caretaker for her mother -- a full time job in itself. Despite working full time Debbie is still unable to fully make ends meet. Her son, Tench Tillman, is in his final stretches of college, which is tremendously demanding itself.

There are many memories tied to that home, and after living there for over 30 years, so much of who Will was is tied to it. The goal of this Gofundme is to keep his family in their home. That will help keep his memory -- all of the great things he has done -- alive.
