Support the Addison Family

Hello and welcome to the fundraising page on behalf of the Addison family. Our goal is to help this sweet family cover medical expenses, travel costs and everyday bills related to the birth of their rainbow baby, Tillie Kate.

When Tara was 18 weeks pregnant, doctors discovered that Tillie has multiple lung tumors, a condition called CPAM, during her routine anatomy ultrasound. The Addisons were advised that Tillie had a severe case of CPAM and unfortunately, a very poor prognosis. Tara and Tyler wanted to seek the best medical care and advice for their little girl, so they traveled to Houston, Texas to meet with specialists for this rare condition. After several weeks of appointments and two trips to Houston, the doctors agreed it would be safest for Tara to deliver Tillie at Texas Children’s Hospital.

The Addison family spent almost 4 weeks in the NICU of Texas Children’s Hospital after Tillie’s premature birth. She received numerous medications and treatments during this time to help her heart and lungs continue to develop. Due to the lung tumors and her heart abnormalities, she developed pulmonary hypertension and as a result, was having difficulty maintaining a normal blood oxygen level. Despite her condition, she overcame numerous challenges including maintaining a normal body temperature and feeding schedule.

While Tillie has grown tremendously in her time since returning to Florida, she will require lung surgery to remove the tumors and part of her lung in June. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks, her pulmonary hypertension has progressed requiring numerous daily medications, supplemental oxygen therapy, and nebulization treatments.

With growing medical expenses and another trip to Texas on the horizon, we ask for your donations, if you are able, to help support this incredible family.
