Little did Alexa and Andrew know when they chose the name Tillie, which means "Mighty in Battle", that the meaning would become their newborn daughter’s life. Tillie June was born on 6/13/19 and suffered a traumatic brain injury during birth which resulted in a spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy diagnosis. This form of cerebral palsy is the most severe and usually affects the entire body which is the case for Tillie.

She is now 4 years old and is not able to walk, talk or sit without support. She also has high tone in her arms and hands which makes it difficult for her to grasp, reach, or do anything independently. Tillie cannot take food orally due to lack of low muscle tone which affects her swallowing. She is 100% tube fed. Alexa and Andrew have spent the better part of the last four years ensuring Tillie has received all the best therapy and treatment available to her. Tillie currently attends 7 different types of therapy weekly and has also participated in two four-week intensive therapy sessions.

Tillie has now mastered being able to walk in a support position in her walker for short periods of time, rollover, and has been working hard on communicating by saying a few words (on her terms only). Tillie is still 100% dependent on Mom and Dad for her every need day in and day out.

Tillie has been accepted into a treatment program in Monterrey Mexico that has been approved by the Mexico Cofepris Regulatory board for treatment of Cerebral Palsy. There has been a clinical trial study done on Cerebral Palsy children which has shown promising results. This noninvasive drug free treatment will stimulate brain regeneration to the areas of the brain that were injured. This treatment is not a cure, but will improve the quality of life for Tillie. The treatment consists of 1-hour long session for 30 days which is not covered by insurance. This is going to be a huge commitment for the family as it requires a month long stay in Mexico. The cost for the treatment alone is $55,000, she may require up to 3 separate treatment sessions of 30 days each. With travel expenses and loss of wages we are looking to raise $100,000 to eliminate some of the financial burden for Tillie's family while they fight to give her the best life possible.

Please consider a donation to help Tillie June be "Mighty in Battle" as she undergoes this 30-day treatment program. Let's rally together and support them with thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement. Let's give Tillie the opportunity to experience things most of us take for granted every day. She may be able to walk longer distances in her walker and depend less on her wheelchair and possibly improve her ability with swallowing and she may be able to experience real solid food for the first time in her life!

We will be eternally grateful for any way you can give to this family.

THANK YOU!
