Hello everyone my name is Michelle Headley ...and I would like to tell my husband ( Terrence) SSG Headley story. I am from St.Albans , Queens ...and my husband had been in the Army National Guard of New York for 9 years and served under state active duty : Joint Task Force Empire Shields for 7 of those years.  My husband was devoted to not only our 3 kids and myself, but to his country. 

December 2017, Ssg Headley had seeked medical attention due to feeling ill one day on duty. Coworkers had brought Ssg Headley to the hospital and they had wrongly diagnosed him with having a stroke. Ssg Headley later checked himself into NYU and learned his condition was more severe. Throughout 2018 Ssg Headley fought to regain his strengthen and restore his health. December 31, 2018 on new year's morning, Ssg Terrence Headley passed away. As we remember him we look back at the 9 years of service he not only gave to his country, but we acknowledge the years he dedicated to his family, friends, and soldiers. Ssg Headley had been big on health and physical fitness. So continue to take care of yourself inside and out because that was what he would have wanted. We ask as we honor Ssg Headley in his sending home at this time all those who are able please help us help his family. Leaving behind a wife with 2 sons and a daughter we ask you help us support this family during this tough time.
