"Till Death Do Us Part" - A Dark Romantic Comedy
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Dan Horch, and I'm a filmmaker currently enrolled at the New York Film Academy. I plan on filming my capstone project for the year and would appreciate any help in getting my project up and running. The short film is called "Till Death Do Us Part," a dark rom-com about an unlikely relationship between a widow and a widower. I have a lot of passion for it, and after reading the short synopsis, I hope you do too.
George, a closed-off widower in his late forties, is paying respects to his former wife's grave when he catches a glimpse of a woman about his age also paying her respects. She's Christine, an open-minded widow in her late forties. The two hit it off and begin a relationship. After their third date, George and Christine make their way to the bedroom, but George accidentally calls Christine by his late wife's name. Christine, however, happens to be into it and insists on being called by George's wife's name in bed. Now, George is starting to get cold feet, but Christine keeps turning up the heat on their relationship.
The shoot will be for three days, from the 7th to the 9th of September. Your generosity will help pay for actors, crew, locations, equipment, and food. Anyone who donates will be sent a completed copy of the film. In addition, those who give $25 or more will be recognized by name with a "Thank You" in the credits. I greatly appreciate any amount you decide to donate. Thank you!
